Workshop: Intro to ArcGIS Pro

For new and experienced users, learn how to create high-quality map visualizations with ESRI ArcPro - the leading commercial GIS software.

NCSU's GIS and Data Librarian will instruct participants on how to improve their map-making efforts and create informative, eye-catching figures for your poster or document. You will learn the ins and outs of ArcPro's Data Catalog and Map Layout interface and how to manipulate map elements, such as overview maps and dynamic text.

Registrants from the university should request an ArcGIS Online account ahead of the workshop and follow the instructions here: https://www.lib.ncsu.edu/gis/arcgisonline. A computer mouse will also be helpful for navigating through the tutorial.
